MOLINE, ILLINOIS (February 28, 2020) — The Black Box Theatre presents Jeffrey Hatcher’s Turn of the Screw March 26 through April 5.  Based on the Henry James book, it is a tale of suspense, horror, and repressed sexuality. A governess journeys to a lonely English manor house to care for two recently-orphaned children. However, she is not their first governess.

PELLA, IOWA (February 24, 2020) — Taryn Sikkema of De Witt, Iowa, is one of 21 Central College students participating in the production of Kander and Ebb's iconic musical "Cabaret." It runs March 4-8 in Kruidenier Theatre.

MONMOUTH, ILL. (02/20/2020) — The world of the stage can be simplified to two types of productions — tragedies and comedies. Monmouth College's February 27-March 1 production of British playwright Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound falls squarely into the latter category.

 

DUBUQUE, IOWA (February 11, 2020) — University of Dubuque Heritage Center continues season three of its BITE Size Series with Darryl Van Leer Presents The Norm of Greatness: A Tribute to Dr Martin Luther King Jr at 7:30PM, Monday, March 16, and 3:30PM Tuesday, March 17, in Babka Theatre.

DUBUQUE, IOWA (January 22, 2020) — University of Dubuque Heritage Center is pleased to announce the cast of over 50 local youth who will perform Missoula Children’s Theatre’s original musical adaptation of Pinocchio on Saturday, January 25, at 10AM and 2PM in John and Alice Butler Hall, Heritage Center. The performances will be the culmination of a week-long rehearsal with MCT’s touring company.
