“Walking into tonight’s speech, I wanted to hear what folks have been asking me for a long time. When are we going to get our economy going for all Iowans? We must ensure that any growth in our economy is felt by all Americans, not just those on Wall Street.

WASHINGTON DC (Februrary 3, 2020) — Repreentative Dave Loebsack announced today that he has invited Gary Anderson, the Sheriff of Appanoose County, to be his guest at the State of the Union address in Washington on Tuesday, February 4. Anderson has 36 years of law enforcement experience, including the past 20 years as Sheriff. Each member of Congress is allotted one ticket to invite a guest to the State of the Union speech.
