An energetic party co-hosted by Common Chord and Quad City Arts, the February 17 Silent Disco event will find DJ Shane Brown, DJ Buddha, and Smokahauntas inviting patrons to dance the night away in the Redstone Room, the popular music mixers battling it out with a selection of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), House, Dubstep, Techno, and House Party.

In a February 17 concert presented by the Dubuque Arts Council, Gareth Johnson & His Evolution Band will bring their tour to the University of Dubuque's Heritage Center, treating patrons to an evening with the world-renowned violinist, master string teacher, and composer whose extraordinary talent crosses all musical genres from Rick Ross to Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars, as well as from Johnny Cash to Metallica and Guns N' Roses, right into Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's “Despacito.”

Internationally acclaimed throat singers whose American credits include touring with Béla Fleck & the Flecktones to promote their Grammy-winning album Jingle All the Way that featured the Russian talents as guest artists, the musicians of Alash perform a special, two-set concert engagement at Rock Island's Rozz-Tox on February 7, the trio noted for their subtle infusion of modern influences into traditional folk music.

Currently touring in support of their 2023 release Ten Years Tall, an EP filled with re-recorded staples from the band’s first two albums as well as a cover of the Rolling Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want,” the Midwestern bluegrass artists of Them Coulee Boys return to Davenport's Raccoon Motel in a February 15 headlining engagement, their previous album release Namesake described by Folking as "a wonderful dream of a record."
