A high-energy 11-piece ensemble boasting some of the sharpest musical talents the Quad Cities has to offer, 10 of Soul headlines a special New Year's Eve concert at the Rhythm City Casino Resort Event Center, their Davenport engagement on December 31 boasting classic tunes from the genres of soul, funk, and blues, as well as a few funky arrangements of their own.

On December 31, fans of classic pop hits and iconic ballads are invited to ring in the New Year with the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse when the Rock Island venue hosts Salute to the Rat Pack & Friends, a thrilling concert event that will take audiences back to the showroom of the Sands Hotel circa 1960 through beloved standards including “Fly Me To The Moon,” “Volare,” “Mr. Bojangles,” and many more.

A celebration of three musical legends whose careers all effectively started with Sam Phillips at Sun Studios, the concert event Elvis, Orbison, & Cash is set to delight New Year's Eve crowds at the Ohnward Fine Arts Center, the Maquoketa venue proud to host three gifted tribute artists in Joseph Hall as Elvis Presley, Jesse Aron as Roy Orbison, and David Allen as Johnny Cash.

Touring in support of the band's most recent album Blood & Stone, a recording that New Noise magazine raved “starts off strong and grows stronger with each track,” the Grammy-nominated alternative-metal artists of Sevendust play East Moline venue The Rust Belt on December 29, performing from a repertoire that includes 13 studio albums, one live album, and 36 singles.

Performing in support of their EP Pretty Lies, a quartet of gifted young area musicians headline a December 29 concert event at the Raccoon Motel, with the Davenport venue treating patrons to the rock and power-pop talents of an ensemble that bills itself as the Quad Cities' only all-female rock band: Been There Done That.

For the first time in three years, an annually beloved holiday-music tradition returns to the area as the professional vocal ensemble the Nova Singers presents its latest A Nova Christmas concerts, with exciting and moving arrangements of non-secular, classical, traditional, and contemporary holiday favorites performed December 16 at Davenport's St. Paul Lutheran Church and December 17 at Galesburg's First Lutheran Church.

Gallery of Skewered Swine was released on November 5, 2022. This second full-length album release finds musicians Pit Lord in their Davenport stronghold: a forbidding, unwelcoming, cyclopean structure looming over the industrial stench of the West End. They glare from their thrones, two heads of a table gouged with countless blade and stained by sauces unknown.

The winners of a Country Music Association Award, three CMT Country Music Awards, and an Academy of Country Music Award citation for Vocal Group of the Year, the chart-topping touring artists of Sawyer Brown headline a December 15 concert at East Moline's The Rust Belt, the group's 41 years of performance boasting such career highlights as a Star Search championship win and three number-one singles on the Billboard Hot County Songs chart.

Lauded by Daytrotter as "one of the greatest indie-folk singer/songwriters around," Minnesota-based musician J.E. Sunde headlines a December 16 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the artist's most recent album 9 Songs About Love praised by Americana-UK for its "deep resonant intimacy that provides a warm and welcoming space in which to experience Sunde's songs."

Best known as the founder and lead vocalist/guitarist for the alternative-country and Americana ensemble American Aquarium, singer/songwriter BJ Barham plays special solo sets at Davenport's Raccoon Motel on December 16 and 17, the artist's 2016 album Rockingham lauded by No Depression for its artist's “ability to capture depth and emotion that is on par with few others.”
