An eagerly awaited holiday tradition taking place in the college's spacious Centennial Hall, the December 3 and 4 presentations of the yuletide celebration Christmas at Augustana will again boast the collective talents of no fewer than six magnificent Augustana College ensembles: the Augustana Symphony Orchestra, Augustana Brass Ensemble, Ascension Ringers, Augustana Choir, Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble, and Augustana Concert Chorale.

Currently touring in support of her latest album Carving Canyons a recording that, according to Forbes magazine, boasts “her best as well as her most mature work yet” – lauded singer/songwriter and Rock Island native Lissie returns to the Quad Cities for a December 3 headlining concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel.

In addition to his rock, blues, and gospel smashes, Elvis Presley recorded numerous renditions of popular seasonal tunes, and many of those timeless hits will be heard when the Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse hosts two December 8 performances of Blue Christmas: An Elvis Rock 'n' Roll Holiday Extravaganza, the return of the King-sized stage entertainment starring touring musician and noted impersonator Robert Shaw.

The thrilling repertoire of a three-time Grammy Award winner and recipient of the esteemed Billboard Century Award will be celebrated at East Moline venue the Rust Belt on November 25, with the Minnesotan tribute artists of Free Fallin': The Tom Petty Concert Experience saluting the legendary bandleader of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and the remarkable career that saw more than a dozen of his songs topping the Billboard charts.

On November 27, the Coralville Center for the Performing Arts invites audiences to celebrate the holiday season in style by attending Christmas with Jim McDonough & His Orchestra: The 20th Anniversary Tour, a dazzling stage production featuring International Steinway Artist and Iowa native McDonough alongside his 14-piece professional orchestra, performing spectacular arrangements of favorite Christmas music and other all-time hits.

A popular entertainer and 2005 graduate of Rock Island High School returns to Davenport's Grape Life Wine Store & Lounge on November 25 in support of his new album The Song Is You, with Matt Barber performing an intoxicating repertoire of jazz, pop, '50s-'70s classics, and seasonal favorites alongside musicians Dick Watson on piano, Dale Newlin on drums, and Mike VanSpeybroeck on saxophone.

Davenport's Redstone Room at Common Cord will be rocking its way into the long Thanksgiving weekend on November 23 when the venue hosts a special night with area talents both seasoned and up-and-coming: the popular AC/DC tribute musicians of Electric Shock, and the joy-filled student musicians of the QC Rock Academy.

With the group's legendary history boasting the release of three gold records, 35 appearances on American Bandstand, induction in the Vocal Group and Doo-Wop Halls of Fame, and inclusion on the soundtracks to American Graffiti and TV's Happy Days, the current members of the Diamonds headline a special holiday show at Maquoketa's Ohnward Fine Arts Center, treating audiences to delightful seasonal fare in the November 26 concert event Silver Bells & Diamonds.

With the chart-topping, platinum-selling artist's 2020 album Country Roads, Vol. I praised by Sounds Like Nashville as "offering a something-for-everyone approach that’s just as potent as his superstar peers," singer/songwriter Granger Smith headlines a November 20 concert at Davenport's Rhythm City Casino Resort Event Center, the Nashville musician beloved for songs including his top-five hit "If The Boot Fits" and his number-one smash "Backroad Song."

Following their hugely successful presentation of Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, as well as the franchise hits Sorcerer's Stone in 2017, Chamber of Secrets in 2018, and Prisoner of Azkaban in 2019, the Quad City Symphony Orchestra returns to Davenport's Adler Theatre on November 19 to perform live accompaniment for Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix, the fifth movie smash adapted from J.K. Rowling's iconic fantasy/adventure novels.
