In Rock Island's Schwiebert Park on June 26, Davenport's River Music Experience will amass the Quad Cities' creative power for an All Sweat Beatles tribute like never seen before in Kaleidoscope Eyes: Music of the Beatles, with musical performances from more than two dozen area musicians accompanied by performances from AcroYoga Quad Cities’ circus and flow artists and members of Quad City Symphony Orchestra.

Held on Main Street in downtown Port Byron, Illinois, an eagerly awaited music festival returns with the June 25 arrival of Baby Blues Fest, an afternoon of food and drink specials in all neighborhood restaurants, as well as exhilarating blues sets by My Friends and Me at noon, the Donna Herula Group at 2 p.m., and event headliners the Avery Grows Band at 4 p.m.

Delivering what the Rochester City Newspaper deems a "genre-busting blast of blues," singer/songwriter and instrumentalist Chris Beard headlines a June 16 event in Davenport's Summer Concert Series, the artist's outdoor set in the city's Quinlan Court treating genre fans to what All Music magazine calls "a modern blues guitarist and singer like no other."

Embarking on his first national bluegrass tour in 24 years, legendary musician Béla Fleck and his My Bluegrass Heart ensemble bring the Bluegrass Happening celebration to Davenport's Adler Theatre on June 22, treating fans to a night of talents that – adding tour performers Sam Bush and the Jerry Douglas Band – have netted an astounding 70-plus Grammy nominations and more than 30 wins.

A pair of lauded independent musicians co-headline a June 22 concert event at Davenport's Raccoon Motel in conjunction with the releases of their 2022 recordings, with Joshua Ray Walker (described by Rolling Stone as "one of country’s most fascinating young songwriters") playing in support of See You Next Time, and Sarah Shook & the Disarmers (a group that Rolling Stone said "plays with fire and purpose") performing old favorites and new songs from Nightroamer.

Revered as the frontman for the Memphis-based, alt-country band Lucero. lauded singer/songwriter and guitarist Ben Nichols headlines a June 18 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel the artist playing favorites from his band's significant repertoire – including 2021's When You Found Me – and compositions from his 2009 solo EP The Last Pale Light in the West, whose seven songs are all based on characters and situations drawn from Cormac McCarthy's novel Blood Meridian.

With the band's latest album described by Atwood magazine as "radiant and spirited, uplifting and inspired," the Missouri-based indie rockers of Hembree headline a June 15 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, Atwood's rave for It's a Dream! continuing by stating, "Between the cinematic guitars and full-bodied harmonies, celebrations of the present and intimate reckonings deep down inside, Hembree have delivered a seductive release we'll surely be returning to for years to come."

Performing catchy, clap-along family favorites such as “Popcorn” and “Now I Go to School," the children's-music talents of Laura Doherty & the Heartbeats headline the Butterworth Center's first Music on the Lawn concert for 2022, with the Moline venue proud to host the singer/songwriter and guitarist named by Time Out Chicago as the Windy City's "Top Kids' Musician in Chicago."
