Less than a year after being recognized for her lifetime of artistic achievements as part of the Kennedy Center's 47th class of honorees, multi-platinum-selling superstar Bonnie Raitt brings her national tour to Davenport's Adler Theatre on September 10, her collection of smash-hit albums including Slipstream, Luck of the Draw, and the chart-toppers Longing in Their Hearts and 1989's iconic Nick of Time.

Best known as the founder, lead guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and main songwriter of the rock band Alice in Chains, Jerry Cantrell brings his eagerly anticipated "I Want Blood" tour to Davenport's Capitol Theatre on September 10, his credits including several solo albums and appearances on chart-topping records by such varied acts as Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Glenn Danzig, and Deftones.

With VICE hailing the blues and Southern-rock musicians' 2018 album Carolina Confessions as "astounding and triumphant, a gut-punch and a nut-kick," the Marcus King Band brings "The Darling Blue Tour (Pt. 1)" to Davenport's Capitol Theatre on September 11, the ensemble's Billboard smash also lauded by AllMusic as "an amazing album front to back."

His sophomore album Neon Blue hailed by Holler Country as "a crash course in pure country from one of the music university’s finest and most knowledgeable professors," singer/songwriter Joshua Hedley returns to Davenport to headline a September 7 concert at the Raccoon Motel, the artist's 2022 recording also inspiring Pitchfork to rave that "the pleasure of Neon Blue is how Hedley subtly twists country conventions, making retro-minded songs and sounds seem both familiar and fresh."

Lauded by US Rocker as an outfit that delivers an "unbelievable interactive rock and roll show. the Japanese-American punk musicians of Peelander-Z bring their tour to Davenport's Raccoon Motel on September 6, the group billing themselves as a '"Japanese Action Comic Punk band hailing from the Z area of Planet Peelander," and their costumes ranging from sentai style suits, to kimono, to rubber Playmobil-style wigs.

An evening of arresting avant-garde compositions by artists both visiting and local is set for Rozz-Tox on September 11, the Rock Island venue and OUTLETProgramme presenting a shared bill with the touring artists of Zoh Amba Sun Ensemble and Rock Island's own Randall Hall.

Performing one of the final concerts in the 2025 summer-music series at Bettendorf venue The Tangled Wood, The Matt Fuller Band will deliver hypnotic grooves and powerful vocals and instrumentation on September 6, the evening featuring the lauded talents of Fuller on lead guitar, Joshua Kain on rhythm guitar, Dewey Lacefield on bass, Tyrone Phillips on lead vocals, and Jim VanHyfte on drums.

Popular touring artists and two-time winners of the Scottish Live Act of the Year Award, the Celtic rockers of Red Hot Chilli Pipers headline a September 8 concert at the University of Dubuque's Heritage Center, the group's hits including popular covers of Queen's "We Will Rock You," Coldplay's "Clocks," and Journey's "Don't Stop Believing."

His smash singles including "You've Got to Stand for Something," "My Blue Angel," "For You I Will," and the chart-toppers "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong with the Radio" and "That's as Close as I'll Get to Loving You," singer/songwrfiter Aaron Tippin brings his tour to Galesburg's Orpheum Theatre on September 11, the country artist's repertoire boasting such hit albums as You've Got to Stand for Something, Call of the Wild, Lookin' Back at Myself, People Like Us, and the platinum-selling Read Between the Lines.
