Foster is the first elected official in Iowa to endorse Sen Harris.

AMES, IOWA (05/21/2019) — The Iowa State University Department of Kinesiology honored outstanding students with awards and scholarships at a reception on April 26 in Ames. The students were recognized for excellence in the areas of kinesiology, athletic training, and dance.

Elizabeth Fennelly, from Davenport, who is studying kinesiology and health, was recognized with the Winifred Tilden High Scholar Award for highest GPA based on fall grades in the undergraduate student category.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 21, 2019) — A significant expansion of the eligibility for a long-standing grant program for Iowa non-profit college students means more families will qualify for tuition assistance this fall. The Iowa College Student Aid Commission (ICSAC) announced the expansion for the Iowa Tuition Grant (ITG), awarded to financially-eligible students who attend one of Iowa's independent, non-profit colleges or universities.
