Turner Exhibit Closing

The river’s crest was significantly reduced over the weekend.  The Mississippi River crested at 15.41 FT on Sunday, September 9 and is expected to drop to 14 FT by Sunday, September 16

 at this time.

The current river level is 15.41 FT.

Based on the current river level and crest projection, the following flood impacts and measures have been or will occur in the coming days. 

Roads

What: Every student at every school in the Quad Cities is challenged to attend school on September 13. We’re trying to beat last year’s Quad Cities-wide attendance rate of 96.1% on Challenge 5 Day.
When: Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 9 a.m.
Where: Virgil Grissom Elementary School, 500 Lost Grove Rd, Princeton, IA
Who: All school superintendents are joining together in the effort to encourage all students to “Strive for Less than 5” absences this school year.

Quad Cities, IA/IL — The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is honored to present the beloved and award-winning author of several fiction novels as part of the 2018-2019 Multicultural Speaker 

Republican Governor Kim Reynolds and Democratic candidate Fred Hubbell have agreed to three gubernatorial debates. The debates will feature the Democratic and Republican nominees in Des Moines, Sioux City, and Davenport. The campaigns have accepted invitations from hosts for the following dates and locations:
