The Davenport Public Library at Main (321 Main Street) will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018. In preparation, the Richardson-Sloane Special Collections Center has scoured our extensive city archives to put together a 2018 calendar that features unique historic photographs of Davenport. Proceeds will go towards the Special Collections Center and their services in the areas of genealogy and local history.

The matter now heads to the Illinois General Assembly, where the governor has respectfully requested that lawmakers uphold his changes. If these changes are upheld, Illinois will achieve historic education funding reform.
