AMES, Iowa (June 12, 2017) -  More than 8,700 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2017 Dean's List. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (June 12, 2017) - Lincoln University of Missouri is pleased to announce that Jasmine Jamila Young of Moline, Illinois, qualified for the Spring 2017 Dean's List. WASHINGTON, June 12, 2017 – The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the projects selected to receive the USDA’s annual farm to school grants designed to increase the amount of local foods served in schools. Sixty-five projects were chosen nationwide.

The Scott County Conservation Board will be hosting the QC Triathlon on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at West Lake Park. Roads going into and out of the park, to include 110th Ave, will be closed at times to traffic during the race. The race starts at 7:00am and the park is normally clear by noon. Summit Campground (located in Gate #1) is used for parking participants and spectators, along with all other available parking.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa (June 12, 2017) - Morningside College presented Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degrees and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees to 162 spring graduates during its June 10 graduate commencement ceremony. The Morningside College Graduate Program in Education offers the MAT degree with special education and professional educator tracks. All graduate program in education courses are offered online.
