BETTENDORF, Iowa – On Friday evening, April 21, Family Resources will hold their annual Opening Doors Gala at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf, Iowa. The gala is the agency’s largest fundraiser of the year with more than 300 guests in attendance. Funds raised will support all of Family Resources programs including counseling, group foster care, and services for survivors of domestic or sexual abuse.

We will be hosting 'SUITS FOR SOLDIER" (Suits for all Veterans),  Food Basket Giveaway, and Catered Lunch for Veterans, their Family or drive.  Join us, the Book Exchange will be open and VA reps on hand to answer any of your questions on benefits.

DAVENPORT, IA - On April 10, 2017, Shawn Eugene Lee, age 39, of Davenport, Iowa, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger to 130 months in prison for each of two separate bank robberies, announced United States Attorney Kevin VanderSchel. The sentences were ordered to run at the same time. Lee was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release following his imprisonment and to pay $200 towards the Crime Victims’ Fund.
DAVENPORT, IA - On April 10, 2017, Jennifer Wierson, age 43, of Davenport, Iowa, was sentenced by United States District Court Judge Rebecca Goodgame Ebinger to 21 months in prison for theft from a government agency receiving federal program funds, announced United States Attorney Kevin VanderSchel.

SPRINGFIELD - Governor Bruce Rauner today congratulated the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice (IDJJ) Specialist Interns at the IDJJ graduation ceremony for their work to serve the people of Illinois. The governor commended the agency on the steps it’s taken to shift the state’s juvenile justice system into a youth-focused, rehabilitative model.
