Buena Vista University also congratulates more than 520 students who were named to the Spring 2026 Dean's List. The Dean's List recognizes full-time students achieving a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for the semester.

LINCOLN, NEBRASKA (June 15, 2026) — More than 6,200 University of Nebraska-Lincoln students have been named to the Deans' List for the spring semester of the 2025-26 academic year.

Qualification for the Deans' List varies among the eight undergraduate colleges and the Explore Center.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 15, 2026) — New Orleans band, Sweet Magnolia, has been pushing the genre boundaries of original music in New Orleans for a few years now with their sassy and fun combination of soul-pop and New Orleans brass.

In the last year, they’ve become known for their infectiously fun songs and building a warm connection with their audiences through lots of crowd participation.

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 15, 2026) — Julie Rice LMHC joined Des Moines University Clinic — Behavioral Health as a licensed therapist. She will provide individual and group therapy to clients ages eighteen and up. Her experience includes helping people in outpatient mental-health settings, using a range of approaches to teach coping skills and support change — such as talk therapy, problem-solving strategies, and techniques to manage thoughts, behaviors, and emotions.
