DES MOINES, IOWA (April 1, 2025) — With April Fools' Day around the corner, Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird today warned Iowans to look out for the top ten reported complaints and scams to protect themselves and avoid getting fooled by fraudsters. Last year, the Iowa Attorney General’s office’s Consumer Protection Division received over 3,900 complaints, which addressed more than thirty different industries and scam categories.

JOHNSTON, IOWA (March 31, 2025) — In February, the Iowa Corn Leadership Enhancement and Development (I-LEAD) program traveled to Vietnam and South Korea on an international learning mission as part of the two-year program. The group studied local agriculture and visited trading partners to better understand the important role Iowa grown corn plays in global markets. The mission explored corn trade in all forms from grain to ethanol to livestock feed.

ANKENY, IOWA (March 31, 2025) — A visit to Iowa from US Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins yielded positive comments for the future of biodiesel, according to the Iowa Biodiesel Board. Executive Director Grant Kimberley spoke with Sec Rollins about the urgency of the Trump administration finalizing a Renewable Fuel Standard proposal. The industry is asking for a Biomass-based Diesel volume of 5.25 billion gallons in 2026.
