DUBUQUE, IOWA (January 27, 2023) — The Archway Reading and Lecture Series at the University of Dubuque will return to in-person events this semester. The series will kick off with a poetry reading and discussion by poet and editor JD Schraffenberger at 4:30PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2023, in the Multicultural Student Center, Peter and Susan Smith Welcome Center on campus.

The event is free and open to the public. It will include a brief Q&A with Schraffenberger.

Based on data from the Iowa Cancer Registry, in 2023 there are projected to be 22,000 Iowans diagnosed with cancer and 6,300 cancer deaths in Iowa.
