IOWA CITY, IOWA (May 9, 2022) — Trey Van Hemert of Muscatine, Iowa, is one of only nineteen students at the University of Iowa who will serve as a student speaker at one of the commencement events scheduled next week.

AMES, IOWA (May 6, 2022) — Charlie Beaver, Biochemistry major at Iowa State University, as a member of an all-student planning committee, helped plan and execute the 16th annual Stupka Undergraduate Research Symposium in Ames, April 7, 2022. The event featured presentations from students, alumni, and nationally-recognized scientists; a research poster competition; and opportunities for students to network with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and symposium speakers.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (May 6, 2022) The Quad City Storm and head coach Dave Pszenyczny has agreed to terms on a three-year contract, securing the team’s only head coach in franchise history through the 2024-2025 season. In his three seasons, Pszenyczny has amassed a regular season record of 66-68-22 and is coming off his first winning season as head coach.
