SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI (July 23, 2025) — Missouri State University awarded 2,824 degrees to students in spring 2025.

The commencement ceremonies took place May 9, 2025, at Great Southern Bank Arena.

Elizabeth Pruitt of Davenport (52806) graduated with a Master of Arts in Teaching.

Students who graduated with honors completed at least thirty credit hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 23, 2025) — The commencement address was given by The Honorable Eric Sorensen, US Representative, Illinois District 17. Ocean Keola Akau ('25), a psychology major from Pana'ewa, Hawaii, was the featured student speaker.

Augustana College recognized 555 students at the college's 165th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 24.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (July 22, 2025) — The NCAA has awarded the Division III Wrestling Championships to the Quad Cities for the 2027-28 season. The championship, hosted by Visit Quad Cities in partnership with Augustana College, will take place March 10-11, 2028, at Vibrant Arena at The MARK in Moline, Illinois. Early projections show the championship is expected to generate nearly $1 million in direct economic impact for the Quad Cities region.
