MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (June 29, 2023) — The students and mentors who attended Monmouth College's LUX Summer Institute for Youth Leadership June 26-28 walked some literal paths, and they also walked the broader path of building community.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (June 29, 2023) — Carthage College congratulates Maeve Dwyer of Davenport, Iowa, who graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Marketing.

About 620 members of the Carthage Class of 2023 took part in Commencement festivities May 26-28. After the formal-degree conferral on Friday evening, individual graduates and their guests took part in an extended procession and ceremonial stage walk at assigned times on Saturday and Sunday.

FINDLAY, OHIO (June 29, 2023) — Abigail Campbell, of Silvis, Illinois (61282), was named to the spring 2023 Dean's List at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade-point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

WEST HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT (June 28, 2023) — The University of Hartford is pleased to announce Jenna Willet of Eldridge, Iowa, has been named to its President's Honors List for Spring 2023.

The President's Honors List is made up of an extremely select group of students who earned a grade-point average of 3.75 or higher in the semester. This is the GPA that must be sustained over a full undergraduate career to qualify for a degree summa cum laude.

PELLA, IOWA (June 28, 2023) — The spring sports American Rivers Conference all-academic team was announced in June and 57 Central College student-athletes were honored for their academic and athletic excellence.

Lucas Wendel of Le Claire is on the Men's Golf team and earned a 3.85 GPA majoring in biology.

Layken Bytnar of Bettendorf is on the Women's track and field team and earned a 3.99 GPA majoring in biology.
