CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA (June 17, 2024) — Julia Houghton of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, was named to the College of Charleston Spring 2024 President's List. Houghton is majoring in International Studies and Political Science.

To qualify for the President's List (Highly Distinguished), students must earn a GPA of 3.800 or higher and complete a minimum of twelve semester hours.

IOWA CITY, IOWA (June 17, 2024) — More than 7,650 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa were named to the Dean's List for the 2024 spring semester.

Dean's list status was earned by 1,063 first-year undergraduates during the 2023 spring semester at Iowa, 1,752 second-year students, 2,041 third-year students, and 2,807 fourth-year students.

WAVERLY, IOWA (June 14, 2024) — Wartburg College was one of only 25 schools nationwide and the only one in Iowa to earn a Carnegie Elective Classification for Leadership for Public Purpose.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (June 13, 2024) — Forty-six students at Augustana College recently were inducted into the college's Phi Beta Kappa chapter. This national academic honor society recognizes scholarly achievement, character, integrity, and independence of mind. Members are elected by faculty. MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (June 13, 2024) — An "exemplary student and innovative leader" from Monmouth College is among the students nationwide recognized as a 2024-25 Campus Compact Newman Civic Fellow.
