CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA (January 29, 2020) — Brooke Harris, of Pleasant Valley, Iowa, was named to the College of Charleston Fall 2019 President's List. Harris is a Biology major.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA (January 28, 2020) — Aditya Singh of Bettendorf, IA, has earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta.

Singh was among approximately 4,200 undergraduate and graduate students who received degrees during Georgia Tech's 258th Commencement exercises December 13-14, 2019, at the McCamish Pavilion.

CANTON, MISSOURI (01/28/2020) — Congratulations to Tucker Ziegenhorn on being accepted into Culver-Stockton College's incoming class for the fall 2020 semester.

Ziegenhorn, from Geneseo, Illinois, and a senior at Geneseo High School, also was awarded the Trustee's Scholarship, a $13,000-per-year scholarship for four years. This scholarship is awarded based upon academic credentials and is renewable provided the student remains in good academic standing.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (January 28, 2020) — More than 900 students have been named to the Carthage College dean's list for the fall 2019 semester. Dean's list honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 14 credit hours during a semester.

One of the six creators of the popular British television show Monty Python's Flying Circus, Jones died January 21. He was 77.
