DUBUQUE, IOWA (November 7, 2019) — University of Dubuque has once again been nationally recognized for its dedication to providing quality educational opportunities to veterans and military-connected students.

For the third straight year, Military Times named UD to its Best for Vets: Colleges rankings. UD was the highest-ranked Iowa institution, placing 19th on a list of 134 four-year universities.

The incoming undergraduates continue to reflect Tufts selective admissions trend, with only 3,404, or 15%, of 22,766 applicants admitted.

A former member of the US foreign service who's written a highly-acclaimed book on the Arab Spring will help make sense of the events from an American perspective during a November 7 talk at Monmouth College.
