CHICAGO (Feb. 5, 2018) — Students from one of the Midwest’s largest Chinese schools decorated the Governor’s Office in preparation for the Lunar New Year.

(Washington, D.C., January 30, 2018) – U.S Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today applauded President Trump’s invitation of David Dahlberg, a U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service firefighter, to attend the President’s State of the Union address. David is being honored for his courageous actions during the historic wildfire season of 2017. He will observe the President’s speech while seated with First Lady Melania Trump.

Davenport, IA – This month, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recognized a Quad Cities coalition, the Food Rescue Partnership, as one of its 2017 Food Recovery Challenge (FRC) Regional Award winners.

Each year the FRC selects national and regional winners based on their wasted food prevention and diversion activities. The Food Rescue Partnership was selected as an award winner in Region 7.
