DES MOINES, IOWA (June 28, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds and legislative leaders announced two legal actions following the US Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs:

DES MOINES, IOWA (June 27, 2022) — Governor Kim Reynolds and the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) have announced $16.5 million in grant-funding for the following four projects through Destination Iowa. The $100 million program, announced in April, invests in transformational attractions that will bolster the quality of life in Iowa communities and attract visitors and new residents.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 23, 2022) — Quad City Libraries launched a passport program to welcome new and previous users to rediscover QC Libraries this summer. This program will run at participating Libraries through August 27.

Such threats reveal some of the darkest corners of the soul of our nation. It is a stain upon our community that there are those among us who would offer such threats. Directing threats against our youth is an outrage that strikes at the hearts of all Quad Citians of conscience.
