DES MOINES, IOWA (March 22, 2021) — The state of Iowa has awarded fourteen broadband-providers with $15,542,302 in Empower Rural Iowa broadband grants made possible through Governor Kim Reynolds’s allocation of federal CARES funding. She said her decision was based on the numerous demands placed on her as the Scott County Commissioner of Elections during the 2020 Primary and General Elections.
