DES MOINES, IOWA (April 2, 2021) — Governor Kim Reynolds signed a new Public Health Disaster proclamation, which extends critical regulatory relief for an additional 30 days to those on the frontlines of COVID19 recovery.
DES MOINES (March 31, 2021) — Governor Kim Reynolds has signed the state proclamation declaring the month of April to be Safe Digging Month in Iowa, in conjunction with National Safe Digging Month. Common Ground Iowa (CGI) sponsored the proclamation with the support of Iowa One Call.
GALVA, ILLLINOIS (March 31, 2021) — The Illinois Capital Development Board has announced $1.4 million has been released for the renovation of the east-campus roofs at Black Hawk College from the state, with local matching-funds supporting a total investment of $1.8 million. The funding will help address deferred maintenance projects on the Black Hawk College campus that have been stalled due to a lack of investment by previous administrations.

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 22, 2021) — The state of Iowa has awarded fourteen broadband-providers with $15,542,302 in Empower Rural Iowa broadband grants made possible through Governor Kim Reynolds’s allocation of federal CARES funding. These grants will impact 21 Iowa counties and more than 2,800 homes, schools, and businesses.
