BETTENDORF, IOWA (January 24, 2024) — It started with a simple idea. Two community leaders — Bea Conrad and John Nagle — wanted to organize the collective generosity of the region to improve the lives of their neighbors and the strength of their community.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (January 8, 2024) — What a joy it is to start the day by announcing that this year’s Quad Cities Community Foundation Transformation Grant has been awarded to the Martin Luther King Jr Center to support their West End Revitalization efforts in Rock Island.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (January 4, 2024) — We will be holding homeownership program information meetings next month. These meetings are strongly encouraged for anyone interested in applying to our homeownership program. You will learn about program qualifications, what to expect in the program, and what documents you will need to complete your application. 

Applications will be available starting February 12, 2024, and must be returned by 4PM, March 12, 2024.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (December 18, 2023) — The Kiwanis Club of Moline, Illinois, will issue grants to five local organizations on Tuesday, December 19, at their weekly meeting. Each of the organizations will receive $350.00 towards their needs. The funds are collected from Kiwanis members during “happy or sad” announcements. A member of the Porky Committee goes around the room with an actual piggy bank (lovingly called “Porky Pig”).
