MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 18, 2022) — Following a thorough review of applications by numerous volunteer scholarship committees, 29 students will receive $51,000 in scholarships this year from the various endowed funds administered at the Moline Foundation. This year’s scholarship winners include:

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (March 30, 2022) — April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, and Project NOW’s Head Start children and staff are making sure everyone knows it. They will be planting 200 pinwheels at the four local Head Start campuses on Thursday, March 31, beginning at 10AM.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (March 30, 2022) — The Hubbell-Waterman Foundation, now administered in partnership with the Quad Cities Community Foundation, today announced $1.2 million in new one-time and multi-year grants to 43 local nonprofits.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (March 29, 2022) — United Way Quad Cities is seeking proposals for grants for the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, which received $496,922 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The grants are federally-funded and administered by United Way Quad Cities and are available to 501(c)3 non-profits, faith-based organizations, and government organizations that provide emergency food, shelter, and rental assistance in Scott or Rock Island counties.
