Veteran, prosecutor, and Charles City resident also announces new leadership team

Charles City, Iowa – Democratic State Representative Todd Prichard of Charles City has officially filed paperwork to explore a possible run for governor in the state of Iowa.

Savanna…State Representative Tony McCombie (IL-71st) will be hosting traveling office hours at the Colona City Hall on Monday, March 27th.

“I encourage residents to come discuss any issues affecting them,” said Rep. McCombie. “Constituents should also feel free to simply come by to say, ‘Hello.’”

Rep. McCombie’s traveling office hours will be held on Monday, March 27, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Colona City Hall located at 100 E 9th Ave, Colona, IL.

Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa today made the following comment on President Trump’s actions to begin rescinding the controversial Waters of the U.S. rule. Grassley has been an ardent opponent of the rule, which has been blocked temporarily by a federal court. The rule would have defined 97 percent of the land in Iowa as a waterway.

The six committee appointments for Rep. McCombie include Transportation: Roads and Bridges, Business and Occupational Licenses, Tourism, Business Incentives for Local Communities, Cities and Villages, and Elementary and Secondary Education: Curriculum and Policies.

CHICAGO – Governor Bruce Rauner announced today he has made appointments to the Illinois Board of Higher Education and the Illinois State Board of Education.
