LeCLAIRE, IOWA (August 25, 2022) — LeClaire, Iowa, will host Patriot Hunts Riverfest, a special event to benefit Patriot Hunts, on Saturday, September 10, 2022.

Wendy Bloomingdale and Annette Black, co-chairs of the Patriot Hunts Riverfest, have organized a family-friendly day with free admission starting with the Kids’ Fishing Derby, 8-10AM, at the south end of the Levee. Registration starts at 7:45AM.

COAL VALLEY, ILLINOIS (August 10, 2022) — The Niabi Zoo is pleased and excited to announce being named a recipient of the prestigious Illinois State Tourism grant. The grant will fund our new Painted Dog exhibit, an important component in our Niabi Zoo Masterplan. The total grant award is 233,000 dollars, and will cover almost half of the cost of the exhibit.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (April 21, 2021) — March 2021 was the Quad Cities International Airport’s busiest month since early 2020. Restored routes and additional spring break service gave the QC Airport a boost of nearly 12,000 passengers from the previous month. CHICAGO, ILLINOIS (October 24, 2019) — Landmarks Illinois has awarded $15,000 in grant-funding to preservation projects in five Illinois communities through its Preservation Heritage Fund Grant Program. Individual grants range from $2,500 to $5,000 each and will be used toward restoring historic places in the following Illinois communities: Atlanta, Princeton, Rochelle, Rushville, and Wilmington.
