MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 13, 2020) — WQPT, PBS for the Quad Cities Region, and the QC VET Center will host the 3rd Annual Patriot Derby Challenge on Saturday, February 15, at Western Illinois University — Quad Cities Campus (3300 River Drive, Moline).

EAST MOLINE, ILLINOIS (January 7, 2020) — On Sunday, January 26, at 4PM, Churches United of the Quad City Area will celebrate the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity by hosting an ecumenical service at First Presbyterian — East Moline, 777 25th Ave, East Moline. This event is free and open to the public. Major Jolinda Shelbourn will be speaking. Pastor Becky Sherwood, Reverend Donald Johnson, Minister Jay McGowan, and Rev Dr Melvin Grimes will also be participating.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (December 20, 2019) — Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities has had a year full of breaking new ground. Last winter we acquired Rebuilding Together QC and for the first time began operating a Home Repair & Ramp Program under the Habitat banner.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (December 17, 2019) — The grownups get to have their New Year’s Eve fun at night, so the Family Museum offers kids a chance to celebrate the arrival of 2020 during the daylight hours with “Noon Year’s Eve,” a countdown to 12:00 noon! This event will be on Tuesday, December 31, 9AM-12PM, with a countdown at Noon. The Museum will close at 2PM.
