During the trying times of the pre-war years, Edwards United Church of Christ, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities, and Temple Emanuel came together and began an interfaith tradition of giving thanks in community.

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (November 5, 2019) — The TaxSlayer Center's annual Christmas tree is scheduled to arrive this Thursday, November 7, at approximately 10-10:30AM. The tree is being donated by the Regency Place Condo Association, per Jim Marsh, of East Moline. The tree is approximately 30-35' tall. Media is invited and encouraged to attend as the tree is raised.

BETTENDORF, IOWA (November 1, 2019) — Happy Joe's Annual Ladies Lunch and Boutique Vendor Show is Friday, November 8, at the Waterfront Convention Center in Bettendorf. The event will take place from 4–7PM at Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church (1201 13th St, Moline, IL). Prizes will be awarded in each category: Best Main Dish, Best Dessert, and People’s Choice.

If you'd like to attend the competition, tickets are $15 each for adults; $5 for youth age 6-12. Children 5 and under are admitted free.

Learn about different artists each week and create a piece of art based on their style. We'll read books about artists and make masterpieces using a variety of media.
