ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (November 20, 2019) — On Wednesday, December 11, Quad City Arts will remain open until 8pm. Members of the Mississippi Valley Woodcarvers will be demonstrating and selling unique Christmas themed carvings between 6-8 PM. Guests can get a peek at our newest exhibition, shop from our Gallery Store and enjoy hot cocoa and sweet treats.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 11, 2019) — A beloved Quad-Cities’ family tradition for more than ten years, the Polar Express Pajama Parties kick off Thursday, December 12, with four action-packed days of holiday fun and the timeless holiday movie at the Putnam Museum and Science Center.

The Putnam has scheduled 10 showings of “The Polar Express 3D” — the visually stunning holiday classic, which will be brought to life on the GIANT Screen, towering six stories tall.

 

MOLINE, ILLINOIS (November 7, 2019) — The TaxSlayer Center's annual Christmas tree is scheduled to arrive today, Thursday, November 7, at approximately 10-10:30AM. The tree is being donated by the Regency Place Condo Association, per Jim Marsh, of East Moline. The tree is approximately 30-35' tall.  Media is invited and encouraged to attend as the tree is raised.

 

DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 6, 2019) — Festival of Trees is in its 34th year as the annual fundraiser for Quad City Arts and as the unofficial kick-off to the holiday season. Over 30,000 people experience this 10-day event each year and an additional 45,000 watch the Holiday Parade, making this event one of the largest attractions in the Quad Cities.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (October 5, 2019) — Three churches, one street corner. During the trying times of the pre-war years, Edwards United Church of Christ, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Quad Cities, and Temple Emanuel came together and began an interfaith tradition of giving thanks in community.
