MUSCATINE, IOWA (March 9, 2020) — This June, the Muscatine Art Center will open the exhibition, Till Death: Wedding and Mourning Traditions. On June 6, 2020, the opening gala will be held at Geneva Country Club. Proceeds from the event support the Friends of the Muscatine Art Center and the organization’s educational mission. The evening will be full of wedding related surprises and fun including the display of five ugly bridesmaid dresses.
DAVENPORT, IOWA (March 5, 2020) — The Putnam’s newest exhibit will uplift the legacy of local organizers in the women’s suffrage movement, and highlight the innovations of the early 20th century that paved the way for change.
Starting Saturday, March 7, the exhibit “Liberated Voices/Changed Lives” will open at the Putnam Museum.

MUSCATINE, IOWA (March 2, 2020) — Living Proof Exhibit is a non-profit that provides the therapeutic benefits of the arts to cancer patients, survivors, families, and caregivers. The Muscatine Art Center and Living Proof Exhibit begin its partnership in 2017. The partnership has grown with the Muscatine Art Center hosting the fall 2019 juried exhibition, “A Visualization of Hope”, with the works of over 30 cancer survivors represented.
DAVENPORT, IOWA (February 18, 2020) — The Figge Art Museum in downtown Davenport will feature the work of influential industrial designer Henry Dreyfuss beginning Saturday. Henry Dreyfuss: Designs for the Modern Age, will be the major first exhibition in over 20 years to focus entirely on Dreyfuss and his designs from the mid-20th century.
