"Winter Wheels" Opens at the Putnam

DAVENPORT, IOWA (November 9, 2021) — The Putnam’s next exhibition is a ride through history on two wheels. Winter Wheels: Antique Motorcycle Exhibition will run from November 13, 2021 - April 3, 2022. This original, community-curated exhibition features vintage, classic, and antique motorcycles of all makes and models, all displayed at the Putnam Museum and Science Center, the Quad Cities’ Smithsonian Institution Affiliate.

Sean Kenney’s Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® Bricks Coming to Muscatine Art Center

Quad City Arts Annual Call for Exhibition Proposals Now Open

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (October 20, 2021) — Quad City Arts invites artists residing within a 250-mile radius of Rock Island, Illinois, to submit a proposal for a gallery exhibition during 2022-23. Selected artists will be paired with one or two additional artists for a two-month long exhibition taking place after August 2022 in one of our two large exhibit spaces. Cohesive bodies of work are highly desired. All media will be considered.

Paint the River: Fifth Annual "Plein Air Paint Out"

BETTENDORF, IOWA (September 21, 2021) — Bereskin Gallery and Art Academy is presenting the fifth-annual “Plein Air Paint Out” along the Mississippi River on Saturday, September 25, 7:30AM-3:30PM.

Artists may paint along the Mississippi from the I-80 Bridge to the Centennial Bridge on either side of the river. All mediums are acceptable.
