DAVENPORT, IOWA (July 16, 2021) — The Putnam Museum and Science Center has expanded its leadership team to include a Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Leslie Klipsch, and Vice President of Museum Experiences, Ben Johnson. “The Putnam is emerging from the pandemic stronger than ever. ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (July 6, 2021) — From July 2 to August 31, 2021, Quad City Arts’ Art at the Airport presents paintings by Ann Kauff of Arlington Heights, IL with woven tapestries by Kara Fedje of Davenport, and ceramic sculpture by Will Van Dyke, of Evanston, Illinois.

DAVENPORT, IOWA (June 28, 2021) — The West Davenport Arts Council, in conjunction with Metropolitan Community Church of the Quad Cities (MCC QC), is hosting an art exhibition for local artist Jen Hansen on the evening of Wednesday, June 30, 6-8PM. Light refreshments will be served. Jen's art is currently on display at MCC QC, located at 2930 Locust St in Davenport, through the end of July.

MUSCATINE, IOWA (June 21, 2021) — Visitors to the Muscatine Art Center have plenty to take in. Between the exhibitions in the Stanley Gallery, the period rooms in the historic house, and the changing galleries on the second floor of the house, an array of artwork is presented. Frida Kahlo: Through the Lens of Nickolas Muray and Alterations: Tailored Solutions to Climate Change, on view this summer, have been previously highlighted.

MUSCATINE, IOWA (June 9, 2021) In December 2020, the Public Art Advisory Commission for the City of Muscatine announced two new public art projects — murals for retaining walls on Houser Street and concept design proposals for the area near the roundabout at Mulberry Avenue and Second Street.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (June 4, 2021) — Seven public sculptures in Bettendorf and two in Moline will be moving to other locations and replaced with new sculptures over the next 15 days, beginning Monday, June 7. Moline is adding two more sculptures this year, and the Geneseo Public Library will be leasing a sculpture for the first time.

MUSCATINE, IOWA (May 20, 2021) — On May 29, the Muscatine Art Center opens two crowd-pleasing exhibitions that are sure to engage and inspire local residents and visitors alike. “Alterations. tailored solutions to climate change,” an exhibition by artist and environmental educator Nancy Judd, features 15 sculptures that appear to be high-fashion couture but are actually made from garbage, litter, and objects found in nature.
