MUSCATINE, IOWA (May 28, 2020) — The opening of the exhibition, “Till Death: Wedding and Mourning Traditions,” has been anticipated by Muscatine Art Center insiders for the last few years. Now that the exhibition is the first on view following a closure of several months, staff hopes the stunning historic gowns will bring the return of visitors.

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (April 8, 2020) On April 7, Quad City Arts, through Facebook and their website, announced the winners of the 43rd Annual High School Art Invitational and presented $5000 in cash prizes and scholarships to area high school students and teachers for excellence in fine art. The awards are as follows:

MUSCATINE, IOWA (March 9, 2020) — This June, the Muscatine Art Center will open the exhibition, Till Death: Wedding and Mourning Traditions. On June 6, 2020, the opening gala will be held at Geneva Country Club. Proceeds from the event support the Friends of the Muscatine Art Center and the organization’s educational mission. The evening will be full of wedding related surprises and fun including the display of five ugly bridesmaid dresses.
