DES MOINES, IOWA (February 21, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate will participate in an election cybersecurity forum during the National Governors Association’s winter meeting in Washington DC on Friday. Sec Pate was invited to join a panel of election security experts for a session titled “Who is Minding the Ballot Box?”.

DES MOINES, IOWA (February 5, 2019) — Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate's initiative to enhance Iowa’s election cybersecurity is one of three finalists for the National Association of Secretaries of State’s 2019 IDEAS Award. Cybersecurity is one of the biggest issues election administrators face. Secretary Pate brought county, state and federal entities together to protect the integrity of Iowa’s elections at every level.
