Works by an incredible assemblage of more than two dozen Midwestern artists will be on local display from November 2 through January 2, with the aptly titled Regional Art Show on display at Bettendorf's Beréskin Gallery & Art Academy and showcasing pieces, for viewing and for sale, in mediums including jewelry, sculpture, raku, ceramic, oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, print making, mixed medium, and collage.

Performing in support of her October 26 release Carousel, an album that Saving Country Music magazine said “takes you on an emotional ride,” country and honkytonk singer/songwriter Carson McHone plays a Moeller Nights concert on November 8, demonstrating the artist's signature flair that Rolling Stone described as “the bridge between Texas twang and Tennessee country, occuipied by a road warrior who's spent plenty of time in both states.”

The winner of six Grammy Awards and an incredible 28 GMA Dove Awards for his internationally revered gospel stylings, 82-year-old icon Bill Gaither brings his Gaither Vocal Band to Davenport's Adler Theatre on November 10, performing a concert of exhilarating southern-gospel tunes beloved by listeners and audiences over nearly four decades and three dozen albums.

Appearing as the latest guests in Quad City Arts Visiting Artists series, actors from the Griffin Theatre of Chicago will stage their acclaimed, unique military drama Letters Home at St. Ambrose University of November 4, the incisive and moving production that the Daily Herald called “a thoughtfully conceived, quietly eloquent show” that “avoids geo-politics and paints a compelling portrait of the men and women who carry out the country's political will.”
