With renowned Chicago great Ernest Dawkins among them, nearly two dozen gifted area musicians will be on hand – and in two Quad Cities locations – when Polyrhythms proudly presents the 2022 Bill Bell Jazz & Heritage Festival, an August 19 through 21 celebration of cultural heritage in the Quad Cities named after the late musician, educator, and East Moline native lovingly known as “The Jazz Professor.”

With its quartet of gifted tribute artists composed of Rich Kosak, Quinton Kufahl, Mark Hermansen, and Mike Collins, the rockers of Mr. Speed: The World's Best KISS Tribute perform a lakeside concert at Bally's Quad Cities on August 20, the group's musicians boasting, as heralded on their MrSpeedOnline.com site, "over 26 years of experience under their spandex."

Offering a stage salute to beloved recording artists including Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and more than a dozen other icons, the opular vocal duo Gordy & Debby bring The Country Legends Show to Maquoketa's Ohnward Fine Arts Center on August 20, the married touring artists currently celebrating for than 15 years as beloved Branson entertainers.

With Laz Luhrmann's movie smash still in theaters, unforgettable hits such as “Hound Dog,” “Jailhouse Rock,” “All Shook Up,” and other classics will have Coralville Center for the Performing Arts audiences dancing in the aisles during the August 20 stage celebration Joseph Hall: Rock N Roll Remember, a salute to the King of Rock 'n' Roll led by the lauded tribute artist and a former competitor on America's Got Talent.

A gifted quartet that, according to Vanyaland, “laces modern folk and Americana with an electronic jolt, waltzing along the grooved edges of dream-pop, synth-pop, and Brooklyn's mid-aughts guitar-rock revival,” the musicians of Kuinka headline an August 17 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, their performance sure to demonstrate why NPR raved about the ensemble's “joyful noise” and “joyous organic sound.”

With the Colorado-based indie rockers praised by Bandwagon magazine as "bright, energetic, and bursting with pop polish," the rising stars of Lady Denim headline an August 12 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the group's talents having inspired 303 magazine to rave about their "catchy tunes and relatable lyrics," and to state, "If you aren’t listening to their music already, then now’s the time to try their songs on for size."
