Radkey, June 9

Performing locally in support of their 2020 sophomore album Green Room and its singles including “Bend,” “Ain't No Sunshine,” “Seize,” and “Underground,” the sibling punk rockers of Radkey headline a June 9 concert at Davenport's Raccoon Motel, the young musicians praised by Atwood magazine for their “thick, slick rock and roll sound built on power chords and hypnotic vocal melodies.”

Currently touring in support of his most recent releases Unjust Intonation and The Hand as Dealt, multi-instrumentalist and Joshua Tree artist Derek Monypeny plays a June 10 concert at Rock Island venue Rozz-Tox, the musician lauded by Zen Effects for crafting "breathtaking compositions - stunning in their simplicity and fascinating in their meditative and even mind-altering power."

In its three years of existence, Stompbox has combined niche obsessions with effect-laden heavy rock and metal with professional-quality, highly drinkable beers, bringing a mixed crowd into its airy, naturally lit space at 210 River Drive in Davenport. The venue is celebrating its impending third anniversary with an outdoor show on Saturday, June 17, with music from Zed, Road Soda, Giallows, Rezinator, and a to-be-announced band.
