Lauded by Clash magazine as an artist who "is able to blend surrealistic aspects with melodies dappled in light," Uruguayan indie singer/songwriter Juan Wauters headlines a June 8 concert at Rock Island's Rozz-Tox in support of his June 2 release Wandering Rebel, a work described on Badcamp as one that "attempts to reconcile the stability he's come to enjoy with the nomadic restlessness that's characterized his life thus far."

Performing in a special concert event at Davenport's Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Parish Hall on June 3, a quartet of gifted musicians will lend their considerable talents to the Chamber Music Quad Cities program Passing the Torch, the repertoire for which will be explored by violinists Serena Canin and Lee Taylor, cellist Gregory Sauer, and pianist Thomas Sauer.

Currently touring in support of their 2022 album Spirits, a release that Cryptic Rock praised for its “joyful effervescence” and that SputnikMusic called “a ton of fun,” the Grammy-moninated alternative rockers of Nothing More headline a May 27 concert at East Moline venue The Rust Belt, their latest a recording that, according to Soundigest, "shows Nothing More's insane talent for satisfying production, heavy choruses, and thoughtful bridges."
