JOHNSTON, IOWA (September 8, 2025) — On Saturday, over 1,800 Iowa Corn farmers and their families gathered in Ames, Iowa, to kick off the 2025-26 Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series. The tradition, in its fourteenth year, is a tribute to the hardworking student athletes who inspire us with the work they do on and off the field, just like the Iowa corn farmers who produce the more than 4,000 everyday products made from corn.

The Fighting Scots Marching Band makes it way down Broadway during the Warren County Prime Beef Festival Parade earlier this month. The band's numbers are up this year, which is also the case for the college's Chorale and Wind Ensemble

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (September 8, 2025) — Korgossarna, the Swedish academic men’s choir from Uppsala University, Sweden, will perform on Saturday, September 20, 3PM, in Wallenberg Hall at Augustana College.

Korgossarna is one of Sweden’s premier male vocal ensembles, known for singing music of the Nordic vocal tradition from folk tunes to contemporary.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The mission of the BJUSO is to inspire artistic excellence in performance as a display of God's glory and His gifts to humanity. Auditions are open to all students at the university, regardless of academic major. The orchestra is directed by Dr Michael Moore.
