Iowa PBS Presents Season 4 of "The Film Lounge"

JOHNSTON, IOWA (January 8, 2020) — It's time to pop some popcorn. Iowa PBS announced today the upcoming fourth season of "The Film Lounge," a series showcasing the work of Iowa filmmakers. This season includes two new episodes featuring 10 short films with varying styles and subject matters.

Hannah Gales of Port Byron, Illinois, Named to Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania

YORK, PENNSYLVANIA (January 8, 2020) — Hannah Gales of Port Byron, Illinois, a junior Human Services major at York College of Pennsylvania, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2019 semester.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Works by Regional Artist Dan Rohde Featured in the Historic Musser-McColm Home

MUSCATINE, IOWA (January 8, 2020) — The Muscatine Art Center will host A Visual Arts Retrospective by Dan Rohde, January 11 through March 8, 2020. The exhibition will be on view in the historic Musser-McColm mansion. “Though it is impossible for me to see my art projects through others’ eyes, I hope these images and forms can be appreciated as original creative efforts,” commented Rohde.
