DAVENPORT — St. Ambrose University has increased merit- and need-based scholarship offerings by close to 5 percent in the past year while working diligently to keep the cost of a private college education affordable for hard-working families.

The increase in financial assistance stands in contrast to the impact statehouse budget reductions may be having on scholarship funding at some public universities.

Senate confirms Justice Department’s top deputy by vote of 94-6

The Artist-in-Residence Program promotes creative means of communicating the park's national significance and its relevance to park visitors. Anfinson will be in residence during June and the early part of July. She will lead a free public presentation on Saturday, June 24 at 2 p.m. in the Visitor Center.
