FAYETTE, IOWA (April 24, 2024) — Upper Iowa University (UIU) is proud to announce Dr Celina Peerman will deliver the keynote address during the University's 2024 commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 4. Dr Peerman is UIU alumna with a Master's degree in Business Leadership, a PhD in Psychology, with undergraduate degrees in psychology and international studies.

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA (April 22, 2024) — Following the conclusion of the 2024 Iowa legislative session, Farm Bureau members would like to thank the governor and legislators in both chambers for addressing policy and budget priorities that are important to agriculture and rural Iowa, including the reinstatement of capital-gains tax deduction for the sale of breeding livestock.  This will prevent a direct tax increase for livestock farmers, many of whom are young and beginning farmers.
