BETTENDORF, IOWA (February 24, 2025) — On Thursday, February 27, Bettendorf High School (BHS) power mechanics students will have the unique opportunity to engage with the National Guard's mobile service vehicle. This specialized vehicle, deployed in the field to repair broken-down military vehicles, functions as a fully-operational auto shop on wheels.

WAVERLY, IOWA (February 24, 2025) — Wartburg's Castle Singers and Kammerstreicher will continue their 2025 regional concert tour on Friday, February 28, with a performance at Christ's Family Church, 4601 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport.

The concert will begin at 7:30PM and features the Bettendorf High School Chamber Orchestra led by Megan Cooney. A free-will offering will be accepted to support future tours.

PELLA, IOWA (February 24, 2025) — Playing higher competition, the Central College men's tennis team lost two matches Saturday.

"I love playing out-of-division competition early in the season. It is tough, and our team had to dig deep in these matches," coach Ryun Ferrell said. "Our team responded well, including some athletes that were sick, but this group fought, and we played great despite the losses."

ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 21, 2025) — The Augustana Symphonic Band, directed by Dr James Lambrecht, will tour the East Coast in March. The ensemble will perform in three cities from March 24-28, then conclude with a home concert on April 5.
