Iowa Auditor Rob Sand Issues Report on the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Department

DES MOINES, IOWA (March 1, 2022) — Auditor of State Rob Sand today released a report on a review of the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Department’s (HSEMD) compliance with requirements established by Chapter 34A of the Code of Iowa. Section 34A 7A(5) of the Code requires each county Joint 911Service Board to submit Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) cost and expense data and an audit of that data.

Gilda’s Club Quad Cities Introduces Prostate Cancer Monthly Hybrid Support Group

A portion of each group will be a presentation with time to discuss afterward. This group is open to people with a current prostate-cancer diagnosis, survivors, significant others, spouses, care-givers, and care-partners.

Candidate Filing-Period Underway for Legislative, Statewide, Federal Candidates

Candidates must file their nominating petitions and affidavits of candidacy with the Office of Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate, either in the Capitol Building or in the Lucas Office Building.
