ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (May 9, 2024) — Six Augustana College students presented at The Mississippi River Research Consortium, held April 16-18 in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Augustana-led presentations included research focused on microplastics in freshwater urban watersheds and land-use factors affecting erosion and entrenchment in the Goose Creek Watershed of Davenport, Iowa.
MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (May 9, 2024) — Just in time for farmers market season, the next Monmouth Associates program will focus on the Monmouth College Educational Garden and Farm.
The May 16 luncheon, which will be held at noon at Meks on Main, 201 North Main Street, will be the final meeting of Monmouth Associates for the 2023-24 academic year. The speakers will be faculty members Eric Engstrom, who teaches biology, and Craig Vivian from educational studies.

DES MOINES, IOWA (May 7, 2024) — Drake University has selected Erik Maki, an accomplished and long-time faculty member at the University, as the next dean of its College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Maki will begin his role as dean July 1.
