ROCK ISLAND, ILLINOIS (February 12, 2024) — Augustana College will host the annual Shockingly Modern Saxophone Festival February 24. The event, featuring guest artist Kyle Hutchins of Virginia Tech, will be held at Bergendoff Hall, 3520 7th Ave, Rock Island, Illinois. All events are free and open to the public.

The festival also will feature performances from Augustana faculty and the Augustana College Saxophone Studio.

KENOSHA, WISCONSIN (February 12, 2024) — The following Carthage College students traveled during J-Term, a month-long period to explore subject areas. A Carthage tradition since the early 1970s, J-Term, or January Term, study tours allow students to experience new cultures and ideas without committing to a full semester abroad.

TAMPA, FLORIDA (February 8, 2024) — Sydney Dolphin of Bettendorf, Iowa earned Dean's List honors at The University of Tampa for the Fall 2023 semester. Dolphin is a Sophomore majoring in Sport Management BS. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the Dean's List.
