DECATUR, ILLINOIS (June 26, 2024) — Millikin University is pleased to announce the names of the outstanding undergraduates who have been named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2024 semester.

Students who attempt twelve graded credits during a fall or spring semester and earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher earn Dean's List honors. Students earning a perfect 4.00 grade-point average on twelve graded credits attempted earn High Dean's List honors.

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (June 25, 2024) — Gabriel Stropes of Milan, Illinois (61264), was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Stropes is in the applied computer technology program.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (June 25, 2024) — There's something about the final semester that brings out the best in Dusty Scott.

As a Monmouth College senior in 2003, Scott was coming to terms with the reality that he might graduate in a few weeks without a girlfriend. But then he and his friend, junior Autumn McGee ('04), began dating during the spring semester, and the couple has been married since 2006.

MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE (June 25, 2024) — Amelia Rursch of Reynolds, Illinois, was named to Rhodes College's Spring 2024 Honor Roll.

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (June 25, 2024) — Desmond Almanza of Rock Island, Illinois (61201), graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with an AAS in Laboratory Science Technology.

Nearly 4,500 degrees were conferred in the 2023-2024 academic year at all of RIT's campuses. RIT's academic convocation celebration was held in May and featured remarks by Patricia "Pattie" Moore, a distinguished designer and trailblazing alumna of the class of 1974.

KINGSTON, RHODE ISLAND (June 24, 2024) — The University of Rhode Island celebrated more than 4,100 of its newest alumni during the University's 2024 Commencement. Nearly 4,000 undergraduate degrees and 800 graduate degrees were conveyed to students during the ceremonies which took place May 17-19, 2024.

BEREA, OHIO (June 24, 2024) — Alex Minyard of Milan, Illinois (61264), a graduate of Rockridge High School majoring in theatre acting and directing, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2024 semester at Baldwin Wallace University, according to Provost Thomas C Sutton. The Dean's List recognizes students who earn a grade-point average of 3.8 or higher while enrolled in twelve or more graded hours during the semester.
